Vera joined Bohopo in October 2025 as a Manager of the Financial Control team.

She began her career as an auditor at Baker Tilly South East Europe, where she spent three and a half years gaining comprehensive exposure to audit methodologies and financial reporting frameworks. She then continued her career at EY Cyprus for five and a half years, progressing to the position of Audit and Assurance Manager. During her time in practice, she led numerous audit engagements primarily within the Property and Real Estate sector, with a particular focus on the ownership, management, and operation of commercial properties.

Vera has extensive experience in planning and executing audits, managing and developing audit teams, and ensuring engagement compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Her strong technical background in financial reporting enables her to identify key risks, conduct detailed financial statement analyses, and deliver clear, practical recommendations to stakeholders. She is also experienced in coordinating with cross-functional teams and supporting clients through complex accounting and reporting matters.

Vera holds a BSc in Psychology and a master's degree in Cognitive and Educational Psychology from the University of Cyprus. She became a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2021.
